The texture is perfect. I haven't found a physical sunscreen that is so well-formulated in quite awhile. It does not leave a white cast at all, even after several reapplications. I love the creamy, thicker texture, that "bursts" into hydration and mild moisturization upon contact and tapping it in. It is fairly seamless. However, despite the initial moisture boost, I have found it to become quite drying. I think the addition of some key ceramides would really make this stand out and do a better job at nourishing the skin. I know zinc is a natural astringent and is prone to drying the skin, but it's formulation really matters too. This uses milled and encapsulated zinc I'm almost sure, which is why it applies so smoothly and does not leave a cast. The texture does have a bit of drag to it though, which is likely due to the zinc, but that could've been formulated around as well. I bought this knowing that is has fragrance in it but honestly I do have wish it did not have that fragrance. However, the fragrance has not bothered my skin. I do not ever apply this to my face so I can't say how well it would do on my face, because fragrances tend to burn my facial skin.
Ultimately, a very thoughtful and great SPF. I've seen hybrid sun creams that leave more of a cast than this! That is where this cream excels at! But I think the moisturization and even hydration part can be improved upon a tad bit. The texture could stand to have a little less drag without sacrificing that creamy thickness I think, but that ultimately is just my personal preference.
