3. Prepare Hot Water
Bring fresh, filtered water to a boil. For green teas, cool slightly to about 80°C (176°F) to preserve delicate flavors. For herbal blends, boiling water is ideal.
4. Steep Thoughtfully
Place one tea bag or the recommended amount of loose tea into your cup or teapot. Pour the hot water over the tea. Steep green teas for 1–2 minutes and herbal or black teas for 3–5 minutes, adjusting for strength.
